Here are some books I recieved recently. Let's call this the Bargain Bin edition!

Agyar by Steven Brust
Contemporary Fantasy
I've been interested in reading this story about a vampire. It seems very different! I found it on BookCloseouts.com and scooped it up!

Fudoki by Kig Johnson
Historical Fantasy
I've been wanting to read something based in Japan or somehow related to Japan when I came across Kij Johnson's books. I couldn't find any of them anywhere convenient for me, so I took to searching BookCloseouts in case I got lucky. And I did!

Lamentation by Ken Scholes
Fantasy
This is another book I found at a bargin price, except this time at the book store. I've been seeing this first in a series everywhere and when I found the hardcover on sale I thought, what the heck?

  1. Oh. I have to say you HAVE to read Lamentation. I absolutely loved it and Canticle, Ken's second book. The Third book Antiphon will be out here in September. :) If you ever get a chance and want to talk about it stop by the Barnes & Nobles forum site. There is so much that happens and to talk about in these books. I just love them! :)
